Uncovering Media Bias – 9th Grade Project

Miss Patti’s 9th grade students recently completed an investigative project analyzing media articles related to injustice in Puerto Rico. Their goal was to uncover and reflect on the different ways the media can influence audiences through writing, images, and data.

This project is directly connected to their summer reading All American Boys, which addresses injustice as a central theme. Through their work, our students deepened their understanding of how bias shapes narratives and impacts society.
